percentage discount in pricing rules

would be great to be able to apply a % discount rather than a fixed price to a product or a category. the fixed priced in the pricing rules currently messes up products that have variants with different prices. it would be great if we could just apply a 10% discount to the product and then regardless of the price of the different variants, each variant would just be reduced by 10%. sounds pretty clean and simple.
