I have installed able commerce v5.5 SR3 in a new server and choose the website url rewrite rules to Standard SEO but this function not working properly.
For Example i am getting the url like http://hostname/Total-Tickets-Special-Offers-C32.aspx but when i click this it is throwing exception as " The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. "

Please let me know if you have any solution.

This is from way back in the distant past so I could be wrong- Isn't there a button you have to click to generate rewrite rules and then content is written to the web.cofig file?

Yes there is a button as Generate Rules and if i click it then it generate codes in web.config file automatically.

And your redirects didn't work after that?

Yes
