Exclude volume discounts from being used with coupons...

There should be a way to exclude volume discounts from being used concurrently with coupons and vice versa. Currently, we have some coupon codes listed on different blogs for a % discount per order. The problem is, some customers find these coupon codes and wait until it's discounted on the site and then use the coupon code.... We get hit with a double discount. It'd be nice to be able to exclude discounts for coupon codes like you can exclude and include products, or maybe just look at the greatest discount whether it's a volume discount or coupon.

Anyone have a work around for this? Any plans to make it part of a future release?
