Notes template sorely needed

I always use the History and Notes feature to communicate with my customers. That gives me a concise, centralized record of all correspondence with them.

I could really use a History and Notes template feature. Something where I can create multiple messages and just fire one off by choosing from a list. The key is that it gets recorded in the Notes history of the order.

I can do this now with Email templates, but it doesn't record it to the Notes History. Plus, the email templates can/will contain HTML and won't probably render in the History and Notes window.

Yes, canned messages for the notes area is greatly needed. I would be happy with a drop down list or with providing shortcuts like it is done in Xigla Absolute Live Support.

We find ourselves writing the same thing over and over to/about customers all the time in the notes section and canned messages would help the reps out.
