I am in the midst of testing, I have set up authorize.net and I am running in the authorize mode, not the authorize and capture mode.
When I ship at test order Able "moves" the order from the payment pending status to complete. Does able produce an "auto-capture" for the already authorized funds upon shipping? If not why does Able move the order from payment pending status to complete if payment is actually still pending?
CC Auto-Capture?

Hello Doug,
I'll move this thread to feature requests for a possible enhancement in a later version. The order manager is documented here:
http://help.ablecommerce.com/mergedProj ... userguide/
Order Manager > Payments > Credit Card Transactions
shows where to enter the capture amount.

Our term for this is 'partial capture' and only a few of our gateway integrations support it: Google Checkout, PayPal, ParaData, and SkipJack.Road Rider wrote:How would I accomplish capturing partial funds from an authorization when shipping a partial order? Partial Order shipment would be due to a back order.
We don't provide the feature for Authorize.Net. As far as I know, that means the API they provide doesn't support it.
Cheers,
Logan
