Hello Mary,

With so many acquisitions and mergers in the industry we'd though it was taken care of.
Payment Processing, Inc. (PPI) acquired assets of Paradata Systems. This integration covers the ParaData payment gateway and back-end bank processors, >>> PaymenTech <<< and Global East.
Thanks for your support

Mike,

If you go to PaymenTech.com there is no indication that they have been purchased. It still refers to Chase PaymenTech.

Ditto on Chase Paymentech

Post by JonW » Mon Mar 24, 2008 10:52 pm

As cool as the V7 features are, I've barely even looked at it for lack of Paymentech support. :(

The Chase Paymentech "Orbital Gateway" has been rock solid. I wouldn't even entertain going back to some of the others I've used in the past.

That is why Able needs to add more payment processors so that people like yourself will give 7.0 a serious look. It can have all the features ever wanted by a merchant, but if you can not process a sale then everything else is irrelevant.

I created bug 6681 for this issue. It will not be in 7.0 final, but I have marked it as required for AC71. I would like to see us produce our integration with the IBiz E-Payment module before then. That would provide PaymenTech and a whole lot more.
Cheers,
Logan

After just a cursory review of the IBiz E-Payment module, it looks to me like it could be the last CC interface you ever needed to create - IF you licensed the royalty free distribution version.

One thing with it is confusing though. They have the IBiz E-Payment Integrator, which lists Paymentech-Orbital as a supported gateway, and they have a separate one called the IBiz Paymentech Integrator, which actually costs more. I'm not following why they have two products for it. :?

Any method that would get me full Paymentech/Orbital support (Auth/Capture/Refund) will get me to jump to V7.0 immediately! :D

I noticed that myself. That's why I decided PaymenTech deserved it's own bug report rather than getting lumped into our IBiz integration project - I want to make sure we support it since it was available in AC55. We weren't supposed to have any "missing features" due to the upgrade.
Cheers,
Logan

My client would really like to use http://www.viaklix.com.

If it can't be officially supported right now is there any way I can add it myself?

USA Epay rocks. One phone call and someone actually answers. Plus their online stuff is fast and easy to use.

Payment Gateway to GlobalPayments

Post by MartinZ » Wed Aug 20, 2008 11:38 am

GlobalPayments (http://www.globalpay.com) handles a fair amount of transactions for Comerica Bank. Having a payment method directly through them would be great! They can be reached at product_integration@globalpay.com.

I have this done, both as a credit card processor (plugnpay) and piggy-backed on gift certificates (MercuryGiftCard via plugNpay)

It would be a nice addition to add SecurePay since several of our clients use them.

Hi Mike,

is the eWay payment gateway natively supported with the current version of AbleCommerce or does it require some customisation to get it going?

Kind regards,

Is there any updated information on whether or not Chase Paymentech will be supported by AC7 in the near future? I noticed this thread but haven't seen any updates to the Chase inquiry from about a year ago. We are at the point of selecting a gateway for our store. We would like to go with Chase Paymentech but don't see it listed as an option. We are looking for a gateway with the following functions: Authorize, Capture, Partial Capture, Void, Refund, Partial Refund. Perhaps we will try Skipjack or Paradata if we can't go with Chase. Anyone have any feedback on these two other gateways?

I've been patiently waiting for any progress with Paymentech and here we are a year later with no updates...

I can't get any processors to come close to the rates I have with Chase Paymentech. Their customer service has been tremendous. According to the CardinalCommerce website, "ChasePaymentech processes one out of every two U.S. Internet transactions.". I don't know if that is true, but they are a huge player.

I'm still on 5.5. I pay my AC annual maintenance and I sit here waiting and don't even know if Paymentech will ever be added.

Can we at least get a status update?
