How important is this enhancement to you?

It's a critical enhancement that I must have.

I'd like to have it but it's not that important.

Delete Products

It would be nice to be able to delete products in bulk through the admin site. Also, would be good to allow this via the dataport utility.

Maybe you could just have an "archive" function that removes it from the list, but doesn't purge it from the db. That way you've still got the data in case you need to audit something.

Delete is kind of scary.

I find Able to be average in this respect. I think the more control you can give to the administrator with simple keystrokes and bulk decision making the better. I hate waiting for pages to load when I am doing a repetitive task. I would error on the side of an interface that has a slightly longer learning curve, but is much faster to use once you are up to stride. I would rather scroll down a page with that keeps going with all the information and have to go through 5 menu items to do the work to one product. My old store is completely run off an Excel Spreadsheet. It took a little to set up, but after I had it figured out, I could make huge changes effectively and quickly.
