I'd like to have it but it's not that important.

How Shipping Discounts are Handled

Post by Robbie@FireFold » Tue Nov 04, 2008 6:52 am

Hello All,

We are having an issue with our profit reports via a shipping promo code we created. We allow customers to use this promo code when shipping on their UPS/Fedex account. It takes 100% off shipping - creating an item that is negative.

The issue is when looking into reports it considers this a discount on the items. Not shipping. We noticed this yesterday on a very large order that had freight of $1300 dollars. The items had minimal markup, but the profit was showing WAY negative due the discount.

Hopefully we could get the ability to actually modify the shipping method cost instead of creating a discount.
