PABP or PA-DSS

Post by jdpatterson74 » Mon Mar 09, 2009 10:51 am

Does the newest upgrade to ablecommerce make it compliant with PA-DSS.
On April 15, 2008, the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) launched the PA-DSS program (Payment Application Data Security Standard). This program was formerly under the supervision of Visa Inc. and known as the Payment Application Best Practices (PABP). This Summary of Changes document provides an overview of the significant differences between PABP and PA-DSS.

Trying to find the important features of PABP, everything is listed as PA-DSS now.

Thanks,
Joshua

Our application has been certified by the independent auditor and has been submitted to PCI under the PA-DSS rules. PABP is obsolete. Apparently the rules change over caused a big backlog of applications so there is some delay in ours being processed by the PCI.
