Capturing payment in Stone Edge - how to delete credit card

We use Able Commerce with Stone Edge, and capture credit card payments in Stone Edge upon order importation.
The problem: credit card info remains in Able Commerce until the Payment Status is changed to "Captured" AND the Order Status changed to "Completed". The Triggers only affect the Order Status - how would I change the Payment Status in ABle (we send the shipping information back to Able and change the status to Shipped). I have only been able to manually complete this process to prove that it will work (changing the Payment status without actually capturing the payment in Able).
Has anyone scripted a solution for this?
