Post by Shopping Cart Admin » Fri Oct 05, 2007 6:08 pm

Hello All,

The first official revision of the CommerceBuilder® API guide is now available for download. The API Guide documents the classes, properties, and methods found in the CommerceBuilder® assemblies. Compiled from the .Net source, based on the developers comments.

API Guide Installation

Post by romac7 » Fri Nov 16, 2007 2:08 pm

Mike,

I'm not sure this will mean much to me now, but would like to review it.
How do I install the help file?

Hello,

You just download the file, unzip it and double click it. No installation required.

Does the icon for the program show a page with yellow question mark? If you right click it and do open with, does it show Microsoft HTML Help Executable? If not, you must need that on your system.

Yes, thanks Judy - I have no issues with other .chm files - just this one. The error dialog is being thrown by that app.

Try downloading the zip again, then right click on the zip file, select Properties, click on Unblock, and then OK.

Now unzip the file and see if you can open the CHM.

Thanks Andy. The file needed to be moved closer to the root older on my local machine (c:\temp worked fine).

Can't see help files

Post by bha » Fri Mar 14, 2008 11:01 am

Hello all,

I unzipped to c:\temp and was able to open the help file. However, the content is not showing up. It displays "The address is not valid" when clicking through the navigation.

One one example upon jumping to URL, it displays the current URL to be - mk:@MSITStore:C:\Temp\CommerceBuilder.chm::/html/50995a47-19fd-b8a2-6be5-47f49851a6cb.htm

Thanks,
Bruce.

This only happens in Vista. In Vista there is a security feature that blocks the content when opening this file. Go to properties for the help file and unblock it. The content will then show.
