Where in Ablecommerce can I find database connection string?

Where in Ablecommerce can I find database connection string?

is it possible to see the sql string \
it would be in the web.config but it is not there

It's in the App_Data/database.config

Except the database.config file might be encrypted. If you have the final release version, you should be able to go to Configure -> Security -> Database in your merchant admin and see the value there.
