Mismatch in Dataport

Post by windsurfer » Mon Jul 13, 2009 7:30 am

I did download the latest version of dataport that showed available and installed it as per instructions version 7.0.34 I installed the DLL into the bin folder to make sure it was the one that came with the download. I still get the mismatch error.
the url is http://localhost/ClientApi/ClientApiService.ashx
and not sure if the store name has any bearing on this?

Did you replaced the old clientapi in bin folder, in fact I just want to make sure that you haven't renamed it and its still in your bin.

I replaced both CommerceBuilder.DataClient.Api.dll 7.0.34.0 and CommerceBuilder.DataClient.Csv.dll 7.0.34.0 in the bin folder with the ones that came with the dataport download.

With 7.0.3 version of Stores you must use DataPort vesrion 7.0.3.x

A beta version of DataPort for 7.0.3 stores is available at:
viewforum.php?f=61

For more information have a look at these FAQ's:

Here is a direct link to DataPort 7.0.3.1 beta (For 7.0.3 stores)
ftp://ftp.ablecommerce.com/betas/DataPo ... _0_3-1.zip

Upload the new API dll as specified in FAQ's thread.

Please report if any bugs found.

Yup that worked, few bugs maybe but it worked. Should maybe make the instructions a sticky by itself. Thank you for the help.

I just used the Able Commerce dataport and Beyond Compare to update the site on my host from my localhost. Few things I noticed after the update.
1) I had 3 Currencies specified - CAD Dollars (Default) US Dollars and Euro’s ….. The default CAD currency had been changed to US Dollar and USD so there were now 2 US currencies
2) The store logo had been changed back to the default Ablecommerce logo. I had a different logo selected. The logo I had selected was called header.jpg
3) In local settings the Postal code Countries had changed to US,CA from my setting of CA,US
and the time zone was blank where I had selected Eastern time zone.
4) In "Contact us" the program insists on having my store in Ontario USA where I selected Canada ( I know cause that’s where I live) On top of that I have no idea how to change that, I have looked through the help menu but there doesn’t seem to be anything there.
5) On another note, I found it a little confusing using the Dataport program selecting upload, download Perhaps I am wrong but seems to me export and import would be a little easier. (for me anyway)

On "Contact us" page the address shown is the address of your default warehouse. So, it seems that your default warehouse setting (or address) is not imported correctly. You can change it from Admin -> Configure -> Shipping ->Warehouses page
