Hot fix messed up Dataport 703?

Post by deadlybuda » Tue Sep 08, 2009 1:50 pm

Hi,
I recently installed the latest hotfixes for 703 (the cumulative and the Google Checkout fix). Since then I get this warning when using Dataport:
Warning: Version mismatch, DataPort API version '7.0.3.1' did not match the expected version '7.3.130.0'.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of DataPort and the DataPort API. It is strongly recommended to update your store and get the compatible version of DataPort application.

If I replace the dlls as directed in the Readme, I get a server error.

Anyone else have this problem?

I found out that I hadn't uploaded the newer dlls to the bin folder. Once I did that, it was fine.

I didn't get a server error- maybe one of yours didn't overwrite comepletly?

Hi Judy,
Thanks for the reply. I put in those DLLs from your link, and I'm still getting the same problem. I renamed the originals, dragged in the new ones, restarted IIs, but same problem. ???

Do not duplicate the dll files by re-naming them. Just remove the old dll's from BIN dirctory or back them somewhere else. If you will rename the dll files in BIN directory your store will stop responding with 500 internal server error.
