Importing Custom Fields

In 7.0.4 if I have created a product template for custom fields how do I then mass import products to AbleCommerce? I cannot figure out how to add fields.

Thanks for the link, but I would actually like what is requested in that forum too and I don't feel it was answered fully. If I have a well-defined product template I don't know how to map to it because I do not know how the DataPort utility matches. For example if I create a field "Product Manager" in a product template and define it as a "DropList", what would I put in a CSV to map to this field (the exact name "Product Manager"??) and would it create DropList choices for the entries I have in my CSV upload so that a new product that uses the template will see a DropList based on the different values in my CSV upload?
