after 3 days of sifting thru this forum, i was finally informed that dataport 7.4 is not compatible with my version of able commerce, version 7, build 9381. i need to download my products info to a csv file 1 time. I would like NOT to pay $300 for a software upgrade just to download this csv file. my website has been working fine for 4 years. What are my options? can i get a copy of an old dataport utility to support build 9381? can someone in your company just download it for me?

The upgrade to the final 7.0 build doesn't cost a thing. Dataport was created after final so there isn't an 'older' version.
