Adjust how Dataport handles decimals on import

Post by maura » Tue May 11, 2010 6:34 pm

I am using a inventory management system for my warehouse. It can export a CSV that I can upload to AbleCommerce through Dataport and it's custom mapping / template capabilities. Everything works good except for inventory management: My CSV export has decimal places in the value I am mapping for In Stock; as long as there is a decimal it zeros out the In Stock value (such as 5.00). So if I do an upload and set my mapped value to 5.00 it will set the In Stock to 0; if the value is 5 it will set the In Stock to 5.

Any ideas of where I should start to figure out how to change how it handles decimals for the In Stock value?
