Failed to connect

I just installed the newest DataPort on our new dedicated server which we have to access through a Cisco VPN client. We haven't moved over our domain name yet, as obviously the AC7 (7.0.4) install is not ready to go live. We've been accessing by IP address. When I run the Data Port local client, I put in the URL" http://XX.XXX.XXX.XX/store/ " and I get " Failed to connect - are you sure the store url is correct?" I've triple checked the versions and locations and everything looks correct. Is the IP address a problem? or maybe the Cisco VPN client? I really don't know where else to look...

:oops: Ooops, seems I created a duplicate post of the same problem, it's been a long day.

I did browse to http://XX.XXX.XXX.XX/store/ClientApi/Cl ... rvice.ashx
and got the correct XML response, but Data Port still failed to connect. Restarted web app still no joy.

I can get a valid response from the dataport service via the browser, but the Dataport client still fails to connect. I'm trying to connect to the website via IP address through a Cisco VPN client. Any thoughts? Anybody?
