DataPort deletes existing variant data

Is it possible to import new variant data to existing products without DataPort deleting existing variant data? In other words, we have an existing Product, ABC. It has an Option called “Type” and Choices “Choice 1”, “Choice 2”, and “Choice 3”.

How do we import “Choice 4” and “Choice 5” to Product ABC without having DataPort delete “Choice 1”, “Choice 2”, and “Choice 3”?

The only way you can get desired results is by download(export) the existing variants data using DataPort, and then modify it by adding new options in it.

DataPort will always delete the options/variant that will not be included in the your upload(imported) data.
