Log DataPort Usage in the Audit Log

I was hoping that a new feature could be added to the DataPort Utility that would log its usage in the Audit Log with the username of the person logged into utility and whether they imported or exported data?

The usage is in the app.log file, but doesn't include a person. It does log what has been done,though.
