UPS rates different when I am logged in

Post by kwikstand » Thu Feb 04, 2016 8:16 am

I just realized that UPS rates are different depending if I am logged in to my store or not. Why is this?

First thing I thought of is: Are you using the same ship-to address, including residence/business indication?

I still think it might be related to residence/business. It looks like the shipping estimators assume a residential address if the user is anonymous. If the user is logged in, it uses the Business/Residence setting of the user's billing address. So if the user you log in with has the billing address set to Business, the rates will be quoted for a business address, and if you are logged out, the rates will be quoted for a residential address.
