CSS layout issues in IE9

CSS layout issues in IE9
When we use IE9 there is a problem with the layout of both the front and back end - see screen shots supplied
This is fixed if we click the Compatibility button in IE, but what normal shop visitor using IE would know to do this? They would just think it's "broken"
Is there a fix to this problem being released soon?
BTW works fine in Firefox and Chrome.

We've been testing in IE9 a lot and we not seen anything like this, nor has it been reported so I'm not sure why your seeing this? Is there a URL where we can access your installation, if so please PM it to me so we can check it out.

I just turned ON compatibility mode and this is the results I'm seeing, seems you have it turned on via the 'tools' toolbar.

I just talked to one of our server guys about something else with Gold and he mentioned that every time he installs a gold site he sees the vertical display of icons. He said he has to clear his cache, clear cookies.
