Hi. Newbie to this formum here.
I'm an IT manager at a medium sized non-profit.
We're considering replacing our old eCommerce platform with Able Commerce.
We have approx 3000 products and 200-300 orders per day.
I'm trying to get some assurance that Able will give good response times with that volume of transactions and I've not been able to find anybody who is doing that volume on Able Commerce. My plan is a standard 2 server architecture (1 web server, 1 SQL server).
Can anybody share their experience or scalabilty with Able Commerce?
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Scalability
We don't have any sites that large using Gold, but have a couple using Able 7 and there are no problems there.

Re: Scalability
Hello,
Page views is a better indicator of scalability as 300 orders a day is only an order very 5 minutes. With today's modern quad core processors (even the low end ones), 4gb of memory in the both servers, mid-range drives you can easily do 300 or more GB of traffic per month. With only 3000 products the database size won't be huge, so 8gb of memory isn't required as it would all be in memory with just 4gb.
