Hello I am working on the latest version of able commerce Gold.

The system is very good in creating multiple boxes for shipping in various ways and charging accordingly.

I am attempting to export information from the order details for a CVS file to batch ship orders.

I see the system nicely breaks up each order into the proper amount of packages to be sent. My question is how can I extract that weight and size of the package??

For example if I ordered 2 pairs of shoes instead of one the shipping charges go up. But if I order say 50 pairs of shoes it knows I need 2 boxes. Does the system store anywhere how it calculated the shipping costs for the shipment # under shipments on the order details page?

I believe the maximum package weight or size is shipping provider specific thing. For example maximum package weight for UPS is 150 LBS. Similarly if you go to USPS configure screen you will be able to see minimum and maximum package weight information. Products do have the option to specify weight and size information in admin and that information is used along with the provider specific details for packages to create shipping packages.
