Hello,

We are looking for feedback on reports in AbleCommerce GOLD. What new reports would you like to see or how could the existing reports be improved?

I had said previously that the WA state tax report was fixed but I was wrong. It needs to show the total order amount per loc code and not total tax collected as these are the numbers WA state asks for. It needs to be order totals before shipping and tax but after coupons, etc.. This year I just ended up learning how to write a SQL statement to get past this issue but I would like to see it built in..

For the various tax laws and nexus nonsense (Michigan hit us), we need reports by state. Sales by state, tax by state, etc. I don't use GOLD yet but more analysis and breakdowns for tax purposes would be great.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for... But it would be nice to have a report that would show what customers bought a specific SKU, between dates. Should show order number and quantity too. For instance we had a manufacturer put the wrong item in the box, it would have been handy to pull up those customers and send them an email that we are aware of the problem and are in the process of fixing it. Other uses could be recall notifications.

Yep, I suggested this very thing long ago, we need a way for product recalls as well.

Any new and all existing reports could benefit from having an Export to CSV option. I don't even bother asking clients if they want it anymore, I just always add it in the custom reports I build.
