Hello Again,

I do not always get a response here but I am not sure where to go for help I continually by new copies of able commerce and cannot get an answer to things that are not working.

AbleCommerce for ASP.NET
VERSION: 7.0.8.5410

When adding kitted items, you give options of otems in each selection group each item has settings in the group: https://www.radiumauto.com/Admin/Produc ... oduct.aspx?

There is an option called "selected" I do not have any of my options set to selected, however no matter what the system always pre-selects one. I was wondering if this selected option should be controlling this?

Just for reffereance the "Options" tab in product page also has the "selected" setting, it works as expected there.

Hey there,

It looks like this might be a bug in the version you are using. If you can confirm something for me, I might have a code fix for you.

Is this true? The only item that will ever be selected is the last one.

Thanks
Katie

Here is how my option is set: Nothing should be selected

Here is how it displays. I had to add not needed as a temporary fix since it always selects something.

This was the same in 7.x

For "Radio Button" kit it auto selects one and the user can only select one but you get the option to select a header so they can select "none"

For "check box" kit it does not select one and you can select and unselect but they can select multiple options as well.. might make a difference to some.

This works as intended in my mind.. If you do not want one selected then use the header option. The select is so you can make one of the items auto selected versus the header item.

It is more user friendly to have the "not needed" as you have shown in the image above. Just my opinion of course..
