PayPal Express Checkout Not working.

We are having a problem with our PayPal express checkout not working. Our version is Gold R6 6169 build. When we try and use the express checkout in the basket we get: [PayPal Express Checkout Failure] [Security header is not valid] and this is the page it directs to when clicking the PayPal express checkout button. [http://URL/PayPalExpressCheckout.aspx?Action=ERROR]. We have all of our API and IPN info installed in able and in PayPal. However, the standard version of PayPal is working just fine in the regular checkout function. Is there another set-up that needs to be done? Do we need to modify the code in /PayPalExpressCheckout.aspx?Action=ERROR is this a possible bug? I have no errors in our logs as well. I've searched the forums but found nothing with this problem in Gold. The other issue is I can't even turn the Express Checkout off in the basket to keep customers from trying to use it. Any help would be great.

Hello Rick,

We'd never seen this issue before just a few days ago, so it's likely something new with how paypal is generating the signature. After a bunch of research and confirming everything was setup properly our hosting client suddenly (and happily) reported back the following:
FIXED!! I called paypal and had to remove the old certificate since it was from 2007 so that the new one would have a signature.
So it's likely you will need to do the same to get it resolved.
