Hello Fellow Able users,

I just upgraded to Gold R8 and Im now reviewing all of the security settings for my catalog. We have right now the setting checked to enable Payment Data Storage for 3 days. We also use the PayPal gateway for both paypal and credit card payments. If I uncheck the Enable Payment Data Storage, will I still have the ability in Ablecommerce to process transactions that are in the system? We have it set to authorize payment when the customer creates the payment and then when we process the order we will capture the payment. I dont see how we need the credit card information if it's already been sent to Paypal, I just want to make sure that's the case before I make any changes.

You do not need payment data storage enabled to carry out Authorize in one step and Capture at a later time.

In light of all of the hacking problems the "big guys" are dealing with, I want to tighten security on my site so that this doesnt become a problem for our business.
