AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

We upgraded our second website (hotsaucedepot.com) from R6 to R8 today, and we are hitting a problem at the checkout (ie. nobody can check out!). The error being returned is below. Can anyone help? Our website has now been down for hours, and will continue to be until this is resolved. We cannot simply go back to R6 as we were able to process orders, and so we did not know that there was an issue on the front end.

That file in R8 does not have the CouponAppliedEventHandler. It does in the R9 file. Are you sure you are using the right version of the file?

When we hit this problem I even copied the entire Checkout and ConLib/Checkout folders from our existing (working) R8 installation. I can try again.

Did you upgrade from R6 to R8 directly? Because our upgrade package only includes changes between each version. So, if you are applying the upgrade files, you would have needed to go from R6 to R7 to R8. If you are using the full build package, then you will have all files and there wouldn't be any reason to think you are missing something.

For R8, there is a hot patch which includes a fix for coupons. Make sure you have this applied to your install -

This was based on a full install, but we did not have the patch installed. We are trying again with a full install and will see what happens. So far, so good.

With a full build, and being very careful to only overwrite files that we customized on the DEV site, we seem to be working.
