Got the R10 Announcement email as well and was surprised (In a good way) by a few things.

In one of the ShipStation bullet points it says:

"Powerful, customizable tools to automate some decision points."

What does that mean?

Also, is the WA State Tax Provider still included in R10?

OK, those bullet points were from the ShipStation website. I went ahead and wrote them (ShipStation Support) the following message:

Our shopping cart vendor, Able Commerce, has informed us that they will be integrating ShipStation with the next version.

In your ad copy on your software you state, "Powerful, customizable tools to automate some decision points"

What does that mean?

Can you develop shipping rules based on Days in Transit for Ground Packages? For example a customer picks 2 DAY UPS, but UPS GROUND Day in Transit is 1 Day. We now manually have to change the shipping method from 2 DAY to UPS Ground. Making this change the customer will get their package 1 day faster. Can you setup rules where your software would make the changes automatically?

That's a good question for ShipStation. I know that they want you to "map" the AC shipping method to the ACTUAL shipping method after the order is imported. The mapping can be changed, but would apply to all future orders as they are imported.

Also, is the WA State Tax Provider still included in R10?

Yes, it is. Plus, we just added TaxCloud. With all the new tax nexus laws happening, I really think this is going to be a great addition to AbleCommerce.

We're really excited about this release too! Last round of QA is going well. So far, we are on track for a release late next week, but of course, there are no guarantees

AbleCommerce Gold R10 is official. We're sending out notices now. The help site is updated and the merchant guide has the new features documented. If you are a subscription holder, you can login to your account and view the new files from the Downloads tab.

This was a huge release for us. It took a long time for the Responsive theme work, but we did manage to pull it off without having to create a second set of controls and store files. So backwards compatibility was maintained.

Also, when you installs the demo it installs the Responsive Theme as default.

The "One page checkout" will need some fixes to work properly in Bootstrap mode.

There is some problems with the sort order of Templates, when I use the demo template and associate to templates to one product and then add another parameter to one of the template the result is this:

The one page checkout isn't going to work with responsive, it will have to be totally re-written to function. There wasn't a way to break it apart and maintain backwards compatibility with older versions. We look forward to getting everyone's feedback and continue to evolve AbleCommerce's responsive template.
