Gold responsive theme showing mobile site on phone

I setup an R10 dev site on my local host to test the new responsive theme. Using a browser emulator for an iphone, the site kept redirecting to the mobile site rather than the theme just being "responsive." I checked and confirmed that the mobile site was NOT enabled in the admin. With no luck testing on the emulator, I setup a live demo with AC and still have the same issue.

Mobile site is not enabled, but using an iphone, this site is redirected to the mobile site:

Strange! Can you please enable the mobile store save it then uncheck it and save again. And then try it again.

Same thing, still going to the mobile store.

It seems like there is some problem when saving the field. If you mark it checked then it disables it and if you leave it unchecked it enables it. For now you can tick the field and save it. This will actually disable the mobile store and enable responsive one.

Seems like the confusion is caused by the setting name in code which says MobileStoreClosed where true means its closed and false means its open. Tripped up the developer looking at the code.
