Disabling anonymous user maintenance process

We are running AbleCommerce GoldR6 (build 6169) (VERSION: 7.0.86.6169)

According to this help file:

We should be able to disable anonymous user maintenance – “If the fields above are blank, then anonymous user maintenance is disabled, and records are accumulating in the affected database. “

When we try to “Save Settings” with the blank values, a validator reveals the error messages:
• Days to save anonymous users must be a numeric value between 1 and 9999.
• Days to save anonymous affiliate users must be a numeric value between 1 and 9999.
Also, it seems the largest value we can populate to first range is 365.

Is there a hot fix for this issue or how can we disable anonymous user maintenance?
