I am trying to add a slider to my home page, but for some reason, when I enter the appropriate code in the content section, some things get stripped out when I hit "Update".

One particular line of code is: <input id="cs_play1" class="cs_anchor" type="radio" name="cs_anchor1" checked>

Whenever I try this, the "checked" gets stripped out. I enter all the code in the HTML editor, but after I click update, the "checked" is left out. All the other code is still there.

Why is this?

Have you disabled WYSIWYG editor from Configure -> Store -> General page? It seems like WYSIWYG editor is trying to format the script. If you disable the WYSIWYG editor then it will simply keep what every script you enter into text box.

Aha! Thanks Mazhar. I didn't think of that. Disabling WYSIWG will probably be better anyway. Using the popup editor is a pain and sometimes IE won't let me copy and paste into it.
