Multichannel Inventory Management Solution

Hi – Has anyone integrated a cloud based multichannel inventory management solution with Able that they could recommend. I am interested in a system that has one central inventory database that is visible to all channels like Amazon in real time and reduces the inventory when a sale takes place on any of the channels. I am not interested in a feed type solution that quickly becomes outdated as sales take place. Right now we make manual inventory transfers between channel inventories to maintain stock balances for sales. It is very accurate but time consuming and limits the speed of growth.
Thanks
Tom K.

Hello Tom,

I am currently using Stitch Labs as an inventory management system to try out to ween my business off of excel spreadsheets. It is a very nice cloud system, and is constantly adding new features. At this time, it doesn't support Ablecommerce, so I have to manually go in and create an order to "sell" the products. However, it did just post that it is opening up its API (which has been private till now), so I contacted them about it and hope to have a positive response this week saying I could use it to build an integration with Ablecommerce. If so, I will be happy to post the code here when it is done.

An open source middleware that may work for you is http://www.jitterbit.org It can connect almost any 2 data sources and do transformations between them. You set the schedule of how often it runs the update routine(s). Their paid option (jitterbit.com) is very expensive, and so is the support. It's Java based so can run on any platform. If you know how to setup DB connections and manipulate the data, this is a great option, and you can't beat the free price tag.

Good Luck,
Chip

Jitterbit no longer offers an open source solution. Their enterprise systems start at $2,000/month.
