I use ablemods quickbooks transfer module and I am attempting to compare what is reported in AC to what is shown in quickbooks. I am having a issue with this as the dates of some orders are different between the two.

QuickBooks shows the date based off the date in the DB for the order. AC reports show the date with some sort of timezone offset or something applied to it. For instance one order shows as 2015-01-03 06:36:40.087 in the DB but as 1/2/2015 11:36:40 PM in AC.

Is there a way to get the reports to use the date in the DB?

Go to Administration > Configure > Store > General and see what is configured for store's Time Zone Offset. In database we keep it without offset (UTC) format so if you want reports to be same as database then choose UTC as time zone offset.
