Is there a way to select only certain ORDERS in the Order Manager view (or elsewhere?) and send an email (one of the stored email templates) to just those customers?

I have found that I can EXPORT order data (including the BillTo email address) for a group of orders, but it's pretty cumbersome (export the data as a CSV file, download the file, open the file, copy/paste the email addresses into an external email client (which won't like multiple addresses pasted into the TO field that aren't separated with some sort of delimiter - which means then having to add a comma or semi-colon between every address you pasted in, etc)) - VERY inefficient.

(Especially since the employee I need to send these emails would have their eyes glossed over at the "download the file" point!).

Surely there's a way in AC to filter users (by date they placed an order, etc) or filter the orders themselves & email only selected segment of users??

We don't have a batch email feature for orders. Seems like a good idea though.

Here is an idea that might work for you -

1. create a temporary order status (eg. Email Invoice) from the Configure > Store > Order Statuses page.
2. check the box for the email template you wish to send (eg. Customer Order Notification). Leave other settings as default.
3. save the order status.
4. from the Order manage page, select all the orders from yesterday and use the batch feature at the bottom of the page to 'Update Status to "your new status name".

This will send out emails to all the orders selected. HOWEVER, this may not be a good solution for you because the order status will be changed now. You can change the order statuses back to what they were, but maybe that's just as cumbersome as emailing each person separately.
