Anyone else having paypal issues lately?

Lately I have had a few orders not getting marked as paid from PayPal. It is probably 1 out of 1000 or so but up until a couple of months ago it ran smoothly for a few years. I have not made any changes in paypal.

We have a site that is having problems also. Like you said, just a few.

When it come to PayPal, I would take 1 out of 1,000 any day of the week.....

Are you all using standard Paypal payments? (IPN)
PayPal admits that it is not a reliable payment method. We are thinking about using them for Website Payments Pro. The Authorize.net gateway fees are getting ridiculous.

I believe most of our sites use IPN. I know a lot of customers use Paypal, but I hate troubleshooting it. We used to have one person who was our Paypal specialist because problems came up so frequently. Now we spread the knowledge(trouble!) around.

We made the switch to Paypal yesterday, but decided against the std IPN version. We did activate the Paypal credit feature though.
The sandbox accounts are a joke. I can usually expect to get 1 out of 10 successful attempts. I think they have these servers overloaded.
