Customer questions from product page?

It would be nice if customers could ask questions on a product page and then I could respond to them on the product page. Ebay does this type of thing. Leaving pervious questions visible to others is helpful.
Is there a way that you can respond to reviews on a product? considering turning this feature on but would really want to be able to respond to posts.

No the only way is to edit the original review and add your response text. But that doesn't notify the shopper.
I built a plugin years ago and modeled it after how Lowe's does it on their website, very similar to how you described the Q&A feature. But it was only for Able 7.x and it didn't turn out as well as I wanted.
One of my clients had me design a review-response system for their store. It turned out very well. You can see it in action on this product:

We also added a verified-purchase indicator along with automatic ticket generation in ZenDesk when a shopper leaves a review of 3-stars or less.
Would make great additions to Able Gold for sure.
