Product image size reduces on option change

I am reviewing the bootstrap_responsive theme against sample data. Why is it when I view a product with options and the product image looks like the correct size and then once the first product option is changed the product image seems to cut its size in half?

In Gold R12 we made an update and choose not to resize product images when listing on product display page. This means we will simply render image with actual dimensions in which they are uploaded without effecting image quality. In sample data some products have sample images with different sizes, I guess you must be looking at TV sample product.

It's every product with options that use the layout such as "AbleCommerce T Shirt". Once you set the first option the product image sizes in half it seems.

In the last release, we made some changes with how the image sizes output. This is a bug. I'll report it and try to get a fix for you.
