Hi gang,

We are using AbleCommerce GOLD R11 currently and I have been asked to set up a coupon for a single variant only, not the entire product. We sell tours and attractions tickets and a given tour may have an Adult, Child, Senior and Military variants at different prices. Our site is https://www.trustedtours.com if it helps.

How can I make a coupon for only the adult ticket variant work? Any ideas?

Hi Jim,

It's not possible to apply a coupon to a product's variants. One thing you could do to avoid customization is to create a Kitted Product where the tickets for Adult, Child, Senior, and Military are actually separate products that are part of the main Kit product. When you setup the Kit, you can make it look just like a single product with options for each. Then you can apply a product coupon (or discount) to only the Adult ticket.
