Paypal IPN issues?

Anyone having an increase in failures to get IPN's back from Paypal?
My site had some issues a while back, finally got them resolved, haven't had hardly any IPN failures for the last few months, but have seen a rash of them for the last 8-10 days.
I know Paypal is implementing some SHA security changes, I'm hoping that it's just a hiccup related to that, but I'm wondering if there's something more to it - maybe I need some configuration changes on my side to play nice with their security changes? (My hosting provider is already SHA-2 compliant so the heavy lifting has been done.)
