Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't really have a specific end of year report for this information. However, you can view your inventory levels from the Manage > Inventory page. Also, there is a Batch Edit Products page under the Catalog menu. If you selected from the Available Fields list, the Product Name, In Stock, and Cost of Goods fields, then the page should have enough information for you to manually calculate this. If you have someone who knows a little bit about SQL server, then can probably generate this information from the database using an SQL query.

Hope this helps...

Katie

Thank you for the reply. Yeah I tried the batch edit and then copy and paste into exel but I guess we just have too many products. Figured most businesses have to report that information; thought I might just be missing something. We had a report on our old able site that did it for us but it didn't get transferred over during our last upgrade.

Thanks

Try using the Data > Export Products feature. You can select the fields you need and it will generate a .CSV file.

Sorry, I should have mentioned this to begin with.

What sort of information do you need to report? Wouldn't you have to calculate depreciation as well as when the product was purchased (or added to inventory)?

Thanks,
Katie

I would just need product name, qty on hand, cost of goods the last day of Decemeber or close to. I'll try what you recommended. Thanks!

The export won't be able to give you a specific date in the past, so you'll need to manually change the inventory depending on the orders processed from Dec. 31st to now.

Good Luck!
