Action needed: Updates required for your Website Payments Standard integration.

Update your integration before March 29, 2017 to make sure your payments continue to be processed

Dear xxxxxxxxx,

On March 29, 2017 PayPal will be making some updates so that the checkout process on Website Payments Standard is even better. As a result, your integration will be affected.

We’ve noticed that your integration has been passing either invalid or incorrect data to PayPal from one or more of your payment buttons. To make sure your payments continue to be processed, you’ll need to update your integration as soon as possible.

Here are some of the benefits you’ll receive with your updated integration:

PayPal One TouchTM, our fastest, easiest checkout experience enabling your shoppers to check out at the click of a button
A mobile-optimized checkout experience, so buying is easy no matter how your customers shop
A new, simpler design that is consistent across both desktop and mobile

What do you need to do?

Review the steps that need to be taken to update your integration and FAQs for more information on common integration issues.
Additional details can be found in our developer documentation here.

Please call me if you have any questions. I’m here to help and make this update as smooth as possible.

Thanks!

I have no idea what this is about. This is the first I've heard of any required update to PayPal One TouchTM. It seems odd because Paypal is not the kind of company that would give less than 2 months notice for a major change in their API.

We'll check it out and give you an update when we have more information.

Thanks
Katie

I found this article which explains a bit more about the message you were sent.

https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infoce ... id=FAQ2067

There are several reasons that the old paypal checkout could be triggered and we'll have to check their list of common reasons. I don't think we have to write a new integration with PayPal One TouchTM at this time.

Hi Tim,

I just tested your site it's going to the correct (new) page as shown in the article Katie linked above.
