getting this error on uploading a new logo

I am getting this error when I try to upload a new logo and I have no idea why this would occur since I must have uploaded my logo to begin with (R12 by the way).

Hi,

Can you login to your Merchant Admin and go to Help > Error Log? There should be a real error message logged here. The one you posted above is a friendly error and doesn't provide the details we need to figure out the problem.

Hi Mike,

This is almost certainly a permissions issue when the server is trying to write the image to the directory.

Need to add write permissions to your files for IIS AppPool\MyApplicationPoolName

yes it was a permissions issue.
