Multiple Subscriptions

I am setting up a second subscription for our store and can not find a way to have a different welcome email sent to a customer than the default one that is under the subscription setup page. Since this is a totally different product I need to have a different email to sent.

Am I missing something obvious or is there a workaround for this somehow?

Hello Eldon,

I'm sorry, but this is not a feature. The automated subscription emails are shared. I know that it is a planned enhancement to subscriptions, but honestly, there is no time-frame I can give you.

If this is something you need right away, then it will have to be customized.

That is a major bummer. I do need it right away.

I am fine with coming up with my own customization, but does it require the commercebuilder source? I do not have that.

If it is something that can be done without that could you point in the right direction?

Any chance you would be willing to attach a PDF download to the subscription product? Maybe it would be the agreement or contract text. If so, then you could use the Digital Good's activation email because it can be specific to the digital good or, in your case, the subscription product. Just customize the email as needed. It can be sent when the payment is received. However, I don't know how to prevent multiple emails from being sent.

Generally, the source is not required unless you are doing deeper customizations. For this, we would need to get a developer's input and see how difficult it would be to setup email per subscription.

Thanks for that idea, I will check into that.

If possible I would like to get some input on the difficultly of this. I could get by with just simply the enrollment email being different, we don't use the other email's yet and the the other settings could be the same for both subscriptions.
