Our site is running AbleCommerce GoldR10 (build 8302)
Currently only usual logon, admin, and payment pages use https.
We'd like to move the entire site to https, with automatic redirects when someone tries to connect with http so that our pages indexed on google do not break.
What is the correct way to accomplish this in AbleCommerce GoldR10 (build 8302)
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Move Entire Site to https R10
Dave,
We added the 'SSL over entire store' feature in Gold R11. I don't think it would be possible to do this manually without some implications. For example, the sitemap links that are generated will be non-SSL and redirects will break.
Thanks
Katie

Re: Move Entire Site to https R10
Hrm, that is unfortunate.
Is there any way to get more of the site under SSL, even if not absolutely everything or to modify the sitemap logic to generate SSL?
I know google is starting to give preference to SSL pages, and unfortunately, since we just moved to R10 a few years ago, a full upgrade to R11 will be difficult at this time due to customizations.
