When are product Notifications sent out?

When are product Notifications sent out?

Hi,
I have product notifications enabled, I have an email set up, and I have the trigger set to "Product with low inventory was purchased" which I think (?) is the only applicable choice? I've updated inventory but no notifications are going out. Have I missed something?

Hi Barb,

Do you see any errors in the log?

What is the email address it is being sent to? Are you certain it is valid?

The trigger probably goes off when the payment is made, so make sure you are following the order through so it is paid.

On your dash board is "One or more products are at or below their low inventory warning level. You can view these products here."

You have to use that and click the save and notify button at the bottom to trigger the product back in stock notifications.

I finally found that but thank you! I have one more question. Is there a way to (easily) modify the notification system so that when a customer requests to be notified it triggers and email to me?
