Since Gold R12 is very stable a service release hasn't been needed in some time, but a few things have been addressed in this latest service release.

This patch includes prevention for Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks and default support for TLS 1.2.

I see this note at the top of SR2:

Applies To: These instructions apply to installations running AbleCommerce Gold R12 SR1, build 9266 only.

So just to confirm, that means the SR2 patch does not contain the fixes from SR1 and thus SR1 must first be installed before installing SR2? Or can people go straight from Gold R12 to SR2 without installing SR1?
