Is there any way in Ablecommerce to determine what type of device an order was placed from - meaning a phone (or tablet) or a desktop browser?

I'd like to track that, to see which (and how many) orders are being placed by customers using their phones (or tablets).

Even if there is no easy way in AC right now (and I haven't found one), is there a way I could implement a modification to track this? (IOW, have my developer code something?)

If you click on the Customer Profile tab from the order, you'll be brought to the User's record. From here, you can click on the Page Views tab to see some basic tracking info. From this page, click the view all link at the bottom, and you'll be able to see the Browser version. I'm sure a developer can write a special report for you to extract this information.
