Hi -
I was curious if the Braintree payment integration uses the drop-in UI or custom UI with hosted fields (both hosted on Braintree's side)? We're evaluating moving to this and want to use hosted payment services to keep PCI requirements lower. Any feedback you can provide is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Braintree Implementation Question - PCI
Hello Greg,
Braintree is setup as a traditional payment gateway and not hosted by Braintree. We've tried to work with these types of systems including paypal and in the past we've never been happy with the results. I remember Joe with AbleMod's mentioned he'd experience the same with the Authorize.net one.
Doing a PCI scan from time to time is just good business practice and it's not particually difficult to maintain pci compliance in todays day and age.
